LPI FL1 series blunt tip aluminium air terminal - M16 x 2000mm

The pointed aluminium conventional air terminal from LPI is one of the principle components of its flat tape conventional lightning protection system. The system comprises:

• an air termination network to capture the lightning strike to a preferred point;
• a downconductor to provide a low impedance path from the air termination to the earthing system;
• a separate earthing system for each downconductor;
• bonding to avoid side flashing; and,
• the rolling sphere design method, which is based on the electrogeometric model.
