Lightning strike recorder

By confirming the direct strike system's efficiency and effectiveness, LPI's lightning strike records provides invaluable data. 

It is designed for easy mounting on a down conductor to effectively count the number of lightning strikes capatured by the Guardian system.

The recorder has a current sensitivity range of 1500 amps to a maximum of 220kA at 8/20us impulse.

Operating by sensing current by an inductive pick-up look, the strike recorder has a mechanical six-digit display secured within a polycarbonate IP67 rated enclosure.

It measures lightning strikes by the induction of current and does not require the use of any external power source.
